ACUK-Pioneer Centre offers full en-suite accommodation for up to 310 guests across 7 individual, internally accessible, lodges. Wheelchair accessibility is throughout the main buildings and within some of our lodges we have shower rooms and ceiling hoist facilities.

Alberta, Baffin and Yukon Lodges together provide en-suite sleeping accommodation for up to 146 in 36 rooms.

Each lodge had its own day/breakout room, kitchenette, drying room & coat/boot store. Alberta & Yukon Lodge also have 8 bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms equipped for guests with mobility difficulties.

Weston Lodges (Noble and Silver), Forest and Treetops Lodge together offer a further 42  en-suite bedrooms sleeping a total of 164 guests in spacious 2, 3 & 4 bedded rooms.

The Caribou Dining Room serves appetising meals freshly prepared on site to a set menu, with our guests served by our attentive staff. We are happy to cater for those members of your group who have special dietary needs for religious, medical or ethical reasons.

Tea and coffee available to you within our self-service stations and within each lodge kitchenette for residential guests. Groups booking exclusive use of the Centre also get the dedicated services of our catering team, who will happily discuss any specific dietary requirements or intolerances for group or individual needs. 

Pioneer Centre Caribou Dining Room


The Centre has been designed to incorporate access to visitors with impaired mobility with most accommodation and meeting rooms at ground floor level.  The Centre also offers bedrooms equipped with wet room style en-suite shower rooms using Pressalit Care System’s track with support arms and shower chair.  In 2014 we improved the service we offer to include profiling beds, a mobile hoist and cot sides all available on request.  We also have ceiling hoists within two bedrooms located in our Yukon Lodge.
